WHEREAS, City of Saint Paul has awarded the G ontract

for said Contract, to -wit; the People's Electric Company,

% WHEREAS, said Contract contemplates installation of
the new electrical service at a total Contract price of

WHEREAS, said People's Electric Company has furnished
the City of Saint Paul with certificates of insurance for
comprehensive general liability in the amount of $200,000
per person and $500,000 aggregate as relates to bodily
injury and $50,000 per person and $100,000 aggregate for
property damage in lieu of the standard limits required by
the City of Saint Paul of $250,000 and $500,000 bodily
injury and $150,000 and $200,000 property damage and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation .of the City Architect
that the lower,limits be acceptable in view of the charac-
ter and nature- of the work contemplated under the aforesaid
Contract, now, therefore, be it
,IRESOLVED, by the Council of the City'of Saint Paul that
the certificates of insurance representing policies with the
limits aforesaid, said insurance carrying the name of People "s
Electric Company as the name insured be accepted in lieu of
the standard general condition and the proper City officials
are hereby authorized to execute said Contract with the limits
of liability as shown herein.,

Dear Sir:
The People's Electric Company are low bidders for a new
electrical service at the Adams School in the amount of
$2,050.00. They have furnished us with Certificates of
Insurance for Comprehensive General Liability in the
amount of $200,000.00 and $500,000.00 in lieu of
$250,000.00 and $500,000.00, and Property Damage $50,000.00
and $100,000. 00 in lieu of $150,000.00 and $200,000.00.
I would suggest that because of the character of the work
that a resolution be prepared accepting the lower limits.
