COUNCIL RZOLUTION— GENERAL FORM
TrM RE_AS, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings has reported, in accordance with
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of
an emergency during the period from September 16
to 30, 1962, which rendered necessary the employ-
ment of certain employees of the Department of
Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for
more than eight hours per day or forty hours per
week in doing the following work:
Inspections at Northern States Power
plant fire.
And WEREA,S, This emergency arose by reason of the
following facts and circumstances:
Inspections made on Sunday, the
day of the fire.
TIE:REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers
are.hereby authorized to pay the employees who per-
formed such work in accordance with the provisions
of the Councilts salary ordinance, Ordinance No.
6446.
