209254ORIGINAL TO CITY CLERK CITY OF ST. PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK UNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM .r. _ PRESENTED I COMMISSIO 209254 COUNCIL NO. FILE — Whereas, It has become necessary for the City of St. Paul to hold a special election on the 6th day of November, 1962 (which is the same day as the County and State General Election) for the purpose of submitting to the electors the proposed amendments to the City Charter as submitted to the City Council by the Charter Commission, and Whereas, the funds appropriated for the Bureau of Elections are inadequate to defray the cost of the printing and publication necessitated by such special election, and Whereas, By reason of the premises above, an emergency exists within the provisions of Chapter 206 of the Charter of the City of St. Paul, therefore be it Resolved, That the Mayor and the Comptroller are authorized to borrow for the foregoing purpose the sum of not to exceed $5000.00, payable one year from the date of said loan, with interest at the rate not to exceed five per cent (5 %) per annum, and to execute and deliver to the party or parties making such loan the promissory note of the City therefore; and be it Further Resolved, That the proceeds of said loan be credited to Election Fund, 31 D.
