An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6446, entitled:

rates, of certain city positions and employments;"
approved January 23, 1925, as amended. This, .is an emergency ordinance
rendered necessary for the preservation of the, public peace, health and
safety.
THE COUNCIL. OF THE. CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAJN: .
' Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6:446, approved January 23,, 1,925,
as. amended, be and the same is,.hereby further amended by striking out the.
Standard Range Numbers. 10 through: 90 .-where they appear EE Sedtioii I As
and by substituting in, lieu thereof, respectively, the Standard Range
Numbers. 6 through, 86.
Section 2. That said ordinance, as amended, be and the same is
hereby further amended by striking out, Section, I B ttSTANDARI} RANGE",
and by substituting in lieu thereof the. following:
"Section
I B. STANDARD-' RA,NQF, -- The Standard. Range applicable to
each position in .each of the classes established in Section 6
of the Rules, shall be the Standard Range having the same
s number as. the Grade in which the class of ,position appears. tr

Range. 4; and by substituting in lieu, thereof the following:
