RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and
services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the wrecking of two buildings
and removal of miscellaneous concrete and debris located at 44 East Winnepeg
Street described as Lot 3, Block 5, Lewis Addition, Saint Paul, Minnesota to
ALL STATE IMPROVING COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Informal Bid #4551 of said All State Improving Company
for the contract price of $197.00,,such bid being the lower and said All State
Improving Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute aid contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

REVISED REPORT TO COMMISSIONER OF FINANCE 208922

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Saint Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the pre-
liminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 203872
approved_ September 12, 1962 relative to improving CLIFF STREET from Smith
Avenue to St, Clair Avenue and ST. CLAIR AVENUE from Cliff Street to West Seventh Street
by grading. paving and curbing the roadbed and street alley and driveway returns; by
grading and sodding boulevard areas; by reconstructing existing paving, curbing, side-
walks and traffic control systems where necessary; by constructing storm water drainage
facilities; by construction sewer, water and gas service connections where necessary; and
by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1.• The estimated cost thereof is $ 185,079.13
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and made
a part hereof. See sketch submitted previsouly.
3. Initiated by the Commissioner of Public Works X
4. Improvement is asked for upon petition
