PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK CO_JNCIL RES(XUTION- GENERAL FORM COU FILENCIL NO. 2099' -1 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter the existence of an emergency during the period from November 1st to November 15th, 1962 inclusive, which rendered necessary she employment of certain employees of the Water Department for m¢e than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: (1) Handling meter reading cards, etc. .EM WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: (1) In order to have readings ready for billers on Monday. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
