INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of opening, widening and extending University Ave. by condemning and
taking that part of Lot 11, Auditor's Subdivision No. 67 described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 11; thence easterly on the southerly
line of said Lot 11 to a point on the southeasterly corner of said Lot 11; thence north-
westerly on the northeasterly line of said Lot 11, 21.45 ft.,to a point; thence south -
westerly on a straight line to the point of beginning, except that triangular part of
said Lot 11 as condemned under Council File No. 138776 on Jan. 28, 1947, for
University Ave.
under Preliminary Order 207544 approved June 6, 1962
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to open, widen and
extend University Ave. by condemning and taking that part of Lot 11, Auditor's Subdivision
#q. 67 described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 11; thence
easterly on the southerly line of said Lot 11 to a point on the southeasterly corner of
said Lot 11; thence northwesterly on the northeasterly line of said Lot 11, 21.45 ft.
to a point; thence southwesterly,on a straight line to the point of beginning, except
that triangular part of said Lot 11 as condemned under Council File No. 138776 on
Jan. 28, 1947, for University Ave.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 10000,00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4th day of
December. 1962 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
Rouse and City Ball Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
