REAS, a�e action was talcen against all licenses held by Ketsana's St. Paul Restautant,
Tnc., d/b/a uam Mit Thai Cafe (License ID#20040001411) for the prexnises located at 475 St. Peter Street
in Saint Pa y Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated May 14, 2007, alleging licensee failed to
resolve an ove ue liability with the Minnesota Department of Revenue; and
WHEREA\$, licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to contest the
allegations or subm�a Cleazance Certificate showing the overdue liability had been resolved; and
WHEREAS, th otice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to contest the
allegations ar submit the eazance Certificate by May 24, 2007, that the matter would be placed on the
consent agenda to impose t recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that all lic�nses held by Ketsana's St. Paul Restaurant, Inc., d/b/a Ruam Mit Thai
Cafe are hereby suspended. �

RE: All licenses held by Ketsana's St. Paul Restaurant, d/b/a Ruam Mit Thai Cafe for the
premises located at 475 St. Peter Street in Saint Paul.

Dear Ms. Bechtel:
The Office of License, Inspecfions and Environmental Protecfion has recommended
suspension of all licenses held by Ketsana's St. Paul Restaurant, d/b/a Ruam Mit Thai Cafe for
the premises located at 475 St. Peter Street in Saint Pau1. The basis far the recoxnmendation is as
follows:
On Apri130, 2007, the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental
Protection (LIEP)/DSI received a notice from the Minnesota Aeparhnent of
Revenue stating that your establishment had an overdue liability. Until that
delinquency resolved and we receive a Clearance Certificate from the
Department of Revenue, your licenses will need to be suspended.
At this time, you ha�e three options on how to proceed:
You can contact Joel J. Tauscher at the Minnesota Department of Revenue (651)
556-6943 to resolve the delinquency. The Clearance Certificate should then be directed
to the attention of Christine Rozek no later than Thursday, May 24, 2007. Obtaiuing the
Clearance Certificate will be considered to be a waiver of the heating to which you are
entitied.

2. If you wish to have a public hearing before the Saint Paul City Council, you wi]1 need to
send me a letter with a statement admitting the facts and requesting a public hearing. We
will need to receive your letter by Thnrsday, May 24, 2007. The matter will then be
scheduled before the City Council for a public hearing to detenniue whether to suspend
your licenses. You will have an opporhmity to appear before the Council and make a
statement on your own behalf:
If you no longer wish to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you may send a written
statement to that effecf to the Of&ce of License, Inspections and Environmental
Protection, 8 Fourth Street East, Suite 200, St. Paut, Miunesota 55101-1002 no later than
Thursday, May 24, 2007. Informafion should be directed to the attention of Christine
Rozek.
If you have not contacted me by that date, I will assume that you do not contest the
suspension of your license.
