CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA
Presented by
2 WHEREAS, Target Corporation, a Minnesota corporation, proposes to dedicate to the City of
3 Saint Paul an Easement for Sidewalk Purposes, generally along Hamline and St. Anthony
4 Avenues and as described on the map and legal descripuon attached as Exhibit A(2 pages—
5 legal description and map); now, therefore be it
7 RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to accept the
8 easement granted by Target Corporation, as attached Ezhibit A, in a form and content
9 substantially as set forth.

DEDICATION OF EASEMENT FOR SIDEWALK PL7RPOSES
Target Corporafion, a Minnesota corporation, Grantor(s), whose address is Target
Corporarion, Property Development, Attn: Real Estate-E�sring Stores, 1000 Nicollet Mall,
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403, for good and valuable consideration, sufficiency of which is
hereby acknowiedged by the Grantor, does hereby Dedicate and Convey to the City of St. Paul,
Minnesota, its successors and assigns, Grantee, a permanent easement far sidewalk purposes
over, under and across the real property in the City of Saint Paul as legally described on E�ibit
A, attached hereto and made a part hereof; subject to reservations, restrictions and easements of
record, if any.
The Grantor does covenant that it is well seized in fee of the real properiy and premises
aforesaid, and has good right to dedicate and convey the same free of all encumbzances, except as
mentioned above.
The Grantor also covenants that the above dedicated easement is in quiet and peaceable
possession of the Grantee. The Grantor will warrant and defend against all persons lawfully
claiming the whole or any part thereof, subject to said encuxnbrances, if any, hereinbefore
menrioned. It is Intended and agreed that this dedication shall be a covenant running with the
land and shall be binding to the fullest extent of the Iaw and equity for the benefit of the public.
It is fiuflier intended and agreed that this dedication and covenant shall remain in effect without
limitation as to time.
