PAUL COUNCIL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE COUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM Whereas, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract 1-6557 for construction of the SNELLING AVENUE S&JER CROSSING 230 ft. south of the Northern Pacific Railway tracks, Peter Iametti Construction Company, contractor, the specified date of completion is July 1, 1963, and K Whereas, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due to the advisability of coordinating the work with current work being done by the Minnesota Highway Department in the vicinity of the sewer work,it was not possible to complete the contract by said date of comple- tion, therefore be it Resolved, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby ; ;authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending _ the time of completion to July 10, 1963 provided however, that this reso- lution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's mod: bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comp- troller, and be it Further Resolved, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs 2L on this ro ect will be charged to the Contractor for such extended P J g period.
