WHEREAS, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11542, approved
- "August 4, 1959, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in Section
5 has reported its findings and recommendations to the Council in a
letter dated Nbvember 1, 1963 and
'WHEREAS the Council has made a study of said report and recom-
mendations, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the
employees listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage al-
lowances as follows:

In accordance with Ordinance No. 11542, the Car Mileage Committee
met Friday morning, November 1, 1963 and gave consideration to the
following requests.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY
A letter dated October 7, 1963 signed by Thomas H,, Shanley, Jr.,
Deputy Commissioner, requested changes in mileage plans for the
Bureau of Health to become effective October 1, 1963. These
changes are necessary to allow greater flexibility in assignment'
and for the overall operating efficiency of the divisions concern-
ed.

A letter from Commissioner Frank L. Loss requested the removal '
from C $25.00 maximum plan, of Fred D. Wright, effective
October 28, 1963 as Mr. Wright passed away on that date.
