Minnesota and E Saint Paul, Minnesota en- WHEREAS, on May 9, 1957, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota and the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota entered into an agreement, as amended on December 1, 1958, whereunder the Authority agreed to develop and improve a part of Low Rent Housing Project Minn. 1 -3 as a community building and recreational area and to lease said building and area to the City for a period of forty (40) years for public recreational purposes;. and WHEREAS, the City, through its Board of 'Education, has undertaken construction of a public school adjacent to the community building and desires to connect said school building to the community building,by means of an enclosed passageway and proposes that the community building be jointly used for educational and recreational purposes and the Authority is willing to permit such construction and proposed use; and WHEREAS, there has been prepared City officers a , Secoind Amendment to Lease the Community Building, Mount Airy Homes, Project Minn. 1 -3, which amendment has in as of the 18th day of September, 1963, by officers, Now, Therefore, be it by appropriate Agreement Covering Low Rent Housing fact been executed the proper City RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that the Second Amendment to Lease Agreement Covering the Community Building, Mount Airy Homes, Low Rent Housing Project Minn. 1 -35 which-amendment permits the community building and Mount Airy Homes to be used for educational and recreational use and permits the City to construct an enclosed passageway between the public school building and the community building subject to the right of the Authority to require the City to restore the premises at the termination of the lease, be and the same is hereby approved, and the proper city officers are authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City.
