Hon. Council
City of Saint Paul
Gentlemen:
Under date of October 14, 1963, a printed copy of Council
File No. 215029 was mailed to John Fischbach, 323.Ez3e
Street, Saint Paul 2 and Ramacier Sash & Door Co., 783 West
Seventh Street, which resolution directed the wrecking and
removal of the two story commercial building on Lot 18 and
Part Northwesterly of West Seventh Street of Lot 7, A. Vance
Brown's Subdivision of Block 4 and East Half of Block 13 of
Brown, Stinson& Ramsey's Addition to Saint Paul, as publish-
ed in the official paper.
We have a letter from Patrick-Ramacier requesting an extension
of from six months to one year as they are looking for a new
site, including negotiations with the Port Authority. The
structure has not been removed and it is our recommendation
that condemnation action proceed, which will authorize
the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings
to enter upon the property and wreck and remove the structure
thereon, and to do any and all things therein necessary for
the protection of life, limb, and adjoining property.
Yours truly, n
