RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
in behalf of the people of said City, hereby take official
cognizance of the meritorious career of one of its most eminent
and respected citizens, Arthur 0. Lampland, who was called from
this life by Almighty God on the 28th day of October, 1963,
after a life devoted to the furtherance of the public interest
and the promotion of the commonwealth of said City and its
inhabitants, in the fields of business, industry, civic
promotion, and humanitarianism; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Council, in behalf of the
people of said City, records high appreciation and gratitude
to said decedent Arthur 0. Lampland, and expresses its sense
of great public loss by reason of his death; his family has
lost a loving husband and father, and we extend our sincere
expression of sympathy and condolence in their bereavement;
and
RESOLVED FURTHER, That in token of our deepest
sympathy this resolution be spread upon the official minutes
of the Council of the City of Saint Paul, and that a
r copy thereof be sent to the family of the deceased.
