PAUL COUNCIL NO OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK PO IL SOLUTION - GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter the existence of an emergency during the period from October 16th to October 31st, 1963 inclusive, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Cl Inspecting new mains installed by contractor. (2) Preliminary work on special accounts receivable. AND WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the r following facts and circumstances: .(1) Necessary to do inspecting after day's work by contractor. l (2) Necessary to have bills prepared on or before November 1st. t THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorited to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
