THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That the proper City officers are hereby authorized to pay, out of the Judgment and Compromise Fund, to Robert K. Mayne and Ida Mayne, the sum of $1+1.00 in full settlement of their claim for damage to their building at 1201 North Jackson Street, Saint Paul, on September 30, 1963, during City-grassrcutting operations at the northeast corner of Maryland Avenue and Jackson Street in Saint Paul, , when the grass cutting machine, driven by William A. Taylor, struck a stone which rocketed into and broke window in the building at 1201 North Jackson Street,-mined by.claimants. Section 2. Said sum shall be paid to said claimants upon their execution and delivery bf a release in full to said City, in a form to be approved by the Corporation Counsel, for all damages sustained in the manner aforesaid. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its passage, approval, and publication.
