Contractor for the Widening and Resurfacing of HIGHLAND PARKWAY
from Snelling Ave. to-Hamlin Ave. and MONTREAL AVE. from St. Paul
Ave, to Fairview Ave., has been completed, and
WHEREAS, said Contractor requests that a portion of the 15%
retained under the contract from estimates for work done, be
paid in advance of tl-B final settlement of the contract, and
W=EAS, The Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department
of Public Works
of the $ 16,498.89 retained; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials be and they are hereby
authorized to pay an estimate in the amount of $ 14,000.00 from
the retained percentage of $ 16,498.88 to said Contractor, and
be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the Contrac forts bond consent
thereto in writing and file such consent with the City Comptroller.
