Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of Dominic J. Perozino for
a permit to install and operate a 33 car customer off - street parking
lot on property located at the northwest corner of Chatsworth Street
and University Avenue which is described as Lots 14, 15, 16, and the
east 8 feet of Lot 13, Block 2, University Sub. of Lots 1, 2, 3, 8,
Hyde Park. The property is zoned light industry.
The subject property, which was a used car sales lot for many years,
has a frontage of 122 feet on the north side of University Avenue
and 121.9 feet on the west side of Chatsworth Street, resulting in
an area of approximately 14,873 square feet. West and adjoining and
fronting on University Avenue is a light industry building now under
construction; to the south across University Avenue is Curtis 1000;
north and across a 16 foot platted alley are single - family residences
fronting on Sherburne Avenue; east and across Chatsworth Street are
various commercial uses. Field investigation discloses no basic ob-
jection to the proposal. The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan 4
which meets the standards for this type of facility. "
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the application for a 33 car customer off-street
parking lot on the above described property in accordance with plans
approved September 2F, 1963.

A public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Court
