RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for Grading & Surfacing with bituminous Material
Hazel Street from Reaney Street to Fast Seventh Street and Bush Avenue from Nokomis
Avenue to Hazel Street to W. J. SBE= COMPANY in accordance with City plans and
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9485 of said
W. J. Ebertz Company for the contract price of $18,078.38 (plus Engineering $1,808.00
and plus $362.00 Inspection by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said
W. J. Ebertz Compan3r being a reasonable "and reliable•bidder and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and'the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
