RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, material,
equipment and services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the
furnishing and installing of two folding gates on the elevator hoistway at
the Public Utilities Building, 100 East Tenth Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota
to MINNESOTA FENCE & IRON WORKS in accordance with City plan and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Informal Bid #5998 of said Minnesota Fence
& Iron Works for the contract price of 77.00, such bid being the lowest and
said Minnesota Fence & Iron Works being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and
the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on'behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
