z WIIEREAS, the Global Country of World Peace ("GCWP") is the owner of property at 399 Ruth Street
3 North, in Saint Paul; and
5 WHEREAS, the GCWP has granted the City of Saint Paul ("City") a permanent easement for sidewalk
6 purposes, attached hereto as E�ibit "A", which is required by the City as a condition to approve a site plan
7 far development of the GCWP property; now, therefore be it
9 RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the City of Saint Paul do hezeby accept said easement and all
l0 terms and conditions contained therein; and authorize and direct the proper city officials to file said

A City of Saint Paul condition of approving Site Plan 06-243192 for this property was that the owner grant a public sidewalk
easement along Ruth Street on the east side of the property. The City subsequently sent the owner a standard easement which the
owner signed and retumed. The easement must now be accepted by the 1Vlayor and City Council. �

The site plan may be approved. The new sidewalk on the private property will be properly dedicated as public.

DEDICATION OF EASEMENT
FOR SIDEWALK PURPOSES
Global Countrv of World Peace
Grantor, for good and valuable consideration, to them in hand paid and the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bazgain, sell and convey to the City of Saint Paul, a
municipal corporation of the State of Minnesota, its successors, and assigns, as Grantee, a
permanent easement for"public sidewalk purposes on, over, under and across the following tract
of land being situate in the County of Ra�nsey, State of Minnesota, described as follows:
An easement on, over, under and across the East 5.00 feet of:
The East 150 feet of Lot 2, Block 8, Hudson Road Gardens, Ramsey County,
Minnesota - .

That part of Lot 1, Block 8, Hudson Road Gardens, lying East of the West 14731 feet
thereof, Ramsey County, Minnesota.
To have and to hold the same forever. The Grautor does covenant that it is well seized in
fee of the land and premises aforesaid, and has good right to sell and convey the same free of all
encumbrances.
That Gtantor also covenants that Grantor has quiet and peaceable possession of the
property upon which the easement is granted. The Grantor will warrant and defend against all
persons lawfiiliy claiiiiing the whole or any part thereaf, subject to encumbrances, if any,
hereinbefore mentioned. It is intended and agreed that this agreement shall be a covenant ivuning
with the land and shall be binding to the fullest extent of the law and equity for the benefit of the
public. It is further intended and agreed that this agreemenf and cobenant shall remain in effect
without limitation as to time.
