RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby directs the City Clerk, who is also Commissioner of
Registration for the City of Saint Pauli; to accept affidavits
of candidacy for City offices at the office of registration of
voters in the City Hall and Court House until 9:00 o'clock P.M.
on February 18, 1964; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk and Commissioner
of Registration is hereby further directed to endeavor to obtain
from the news disseminating media in the City of Saint Paul, adequate
publicity to afford to all potential candidates information relative
to the 9:00 o'clock P.M., Febuary 18, 1964 closing time for ling

WHEREAS, it has been made to appear that filing of
affidavits of candidacy for City offices opens, for the City
Primary Election to be held in 1964, on January 2, 1964 and
closes on February 18, 1964; and
WHEREAS, it is further made to appear that the closing
dates for filing such affidavits of candidacy is also, by State
Statute, the last day to register for voting for the City
Primary Election and the office is required by statute to be
open until 9:00 o'clock P.M. for registration of voters; and
