RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing, delivering, installing and leasing of
MECHANIZED FILING EQUIPAIENr to the City of Ste Paul, Department of Public Safety, Police
Department, Stl Paul, Minnesota, for period of two years - to DIEBOLD, INCORPORATED
in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #9557 of said Diebold, Incorporated
for the lease price of $1214.35 per month, making a total of $29,144.40 for twenty -four
months, either party having the option to cancel upon 30 -days written notice after first
six months of agreement has expired, with option to purchase at unit bid prices therefor,
such bid being the lowest and said Diebold, Incorporated being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper form
of contr ct therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute said
