Dispatching men for emergency repair work. Dispatching motor vehicles for all emergency work. 1963 or Operating equipment on emergency repair work: Emergency calls for sewer maintenance. Removing snow from city street and sanding icy streets. Tending fires at Asphalt Plant on Sundays and holidays. Taking care of complaints at city yards. Drawing plans and specifications for grading and paving jobs. Servicing municipal equipment. Making up sidewalk assessment reports. Inspecting city improvement jobs. Watching Municipal Equipment during off hours. And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Necessity of answering all emergency repair calls, keeping city streets free from debris, keeping fires at Asphalt Plant continuously, taking complaints at City Yards, completing plans and specifications for grading and paving jobs, need for grade profiles and house numbers, completing sidewalk assessment reports, keeping city equipment in good running condition, removing snow from city streets and sanding icy streets, and inspecting work done by contractors on street and sidewalk works. THEREFORE BE I T hereby authorized to accordance with the No. 6446.
