RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent"be and he is hereby authorized, with the
consent of the Comptroller and the Mayor, to purchase, upon receipt of
requisitions from the Bureau of Auditorium, newspaper and radio advertising,
posting and printing of posters necessary for publicity of entertainment given at
the Municipal Auditorium, for a period of one year from December 13, 1963, without
advertisement or competitive bids, pursuant to Section 291 of the Charter of the
City ofSt. Paul: there being no adequate competitive sources of supply, the above
is declared to be an emergency authorization.
