RESOLVED, that a pub is hearing be held by and before the Council
of the City of Saint Paul, in the Council Chamber of the Court House
and City Hall, in said City, as provided in Section 1.07, Paragraph 2,
Saint Paul Legislative Code, at ten o'clock A.M., on December 31, 19639
upon the advisability and Iecessity of the repair, replacement, remodel -
ing or wrecking and removal of the two story frame building on Except
Avenues Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Varner's Subdivision of Lots 1 and 2 of
Buell & Mackubin's Outlots,, according to the plat thereof recorded

the two -story frame building at 333 N. Chatsworth St., as more
fully described in the attached letter of the City Architect.

Gentlemen:
There is a'two story frame building at 333 North Chatsworth
Street, Saint Paul 4 described as
Except Avenue Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Varner's Subdivi-
sion of Lots 1 and 2 of Buell & Mackubin's Outlots.
This building is approximately 49 by 54 by 20 feet, and has
been vacant for some time. It is standing open and the exteri-
or is being damaged by vandals. The interior has been badly
damaged by fire. Windows are broken and glass pieces are
hanging in the windows._ The building should be repaired or
wrecked and removed as it is now dangerous to life, limb and
adjoining property.
Thq last known record owners are: First New Hope Baptist
Church, Rev. Kneely Williams, 289 North Chatsworth Street,
Saint Paul 4. Danger Notices have been posted.
Kindly institute condemnation action by setting a hearing
date in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the Saint Paul Leg-
islative Code.
