WHEREAS, on or about the 29th day of May, 1959, one 7d?gil�'`19eutter
caused to be served upon the City of Saint Paul a garnishment summons
naming said City of Saint Paul as Garnishee, wherein said Lorenz Seutter
named Harry S. Barnes to be indebted to him, Lorenz Seutter, in the
amount of $75.00, of which said sum has been held by the City of Saint
Paul on behalf of said Harry S. Barnes, on whose behalf said sum was
deposited in the Bureau of Police of said City; and
WHEREAS, said Lorenz Seutter, by release and stipulation has
agreed to release and discharge said Garnishee, City of Saint•Paul,
from any and all claims and obligations arising from the transactions
and dealings of May 6, 1959, the date on which the aforesaid sum of
money was deposited with said Bureau of Police on behalf of Harry 'S.
Barnes; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul has been informed
that Harry S. Barnes has put in writing, before his institutional
parole officer, his approval of the aforesaid matter; and
WHEREAS, demand has been made for the release of said sum from
said City to said Lorenz Seuttef; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the sum of $75.00, as presently held for the City
of Saint Paul at said Bureau of Police, may be released to Hansen,
Hazen and Lynch, attorneys for Lorenz Seutter, upon the presentmentto
said Bureau of Police of a copy of this resolution; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the balance of any funds retained by said
"Bureau of Police in the name of Harry S. Barnes, may be forwarded to
s parole officer, Mr. Rowland R. Lutz, Chief of the Bureau of Probation
C and Parole, State of Ohio, 1 South 4th Street, Columbus 15, Ohio; and

o RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul is
°= E hereby authorized to sign that particular release and stipulation referred
S to herein, the original of which release and stipulation shall be filed
.-:in the office of the Comptroller of said City, and a copy of which will
o� < be forwarded to Hansen, Hazen and Lynch.
