Mortinson June 7, 1963 COMMISSIONER DATE WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings has reported in accordance with Section 53`of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May 5h through June 1st, 1963 which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings, Bureau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Supervise various activities, operate ventilating system, operate PBX switchboard during events held in the building. and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available for work during convention, concerts, wrestling and high school commencement held in the building. This time includes Saturdays,Sundays and Holiday. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authora:zed to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Council Salary Ordinance No. 6446. ourd Pole No. 213259 —By Severin A.
