OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONI WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accor- dance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May 16, 1963 to May 31, 1963, inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making air pollution tests, Making concrete block tests, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Work necessary at irregular hours to complete tests for federal agency, Completion of tests requiring continuous attention, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
