RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and
services necessary for or reasonably inciddntal to the fabrication and installation
of furniture and fixtures for the Main Public Library located at 90 West Fourth
Street, the Merriam. Park Branch Library.located at 1831 Marshall Avenue and Hemline
Branch Library located at 1558 Minnehbha Avenue West, Saint Paul, Minnesota to
WESTLUND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9292 of said Westlund Construction
Company for the contract price of $9,729.00, such bid-being the. lowest and said
Westlund Construction Company being a reasonable and -reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw nP the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
