RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Purchasing
Committee and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering approx. 500 Cu. Yds.
(More or less as required) Ready -mixed Concrete to the %ter Department when and where
required within the City of St.Paul during period of one year beginning October 26, 1963,
to CERTIFIED CONCRETE COMPANY for the contract price of approximately $8325.00 (at unit
prices bid) in accordance with City specifications and the formal bid #9482 of said
Certified Concrete Company such bid being the lowest and said Certified Concrete Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul. '
