RESOLVED, that an extra in the amount of $3,262.00 be
allowed under Contract G 3152 between the City of Saint Paul
and Lovering Construction Company, said contract for General,
Electrical and Mechanical Construction of the Civic Education
Building, Tenth and Cedar Streets, Saint Paul, Minnesota and
said extra to cover a change from fiber glass duct to accousti-
cally lined sheet met�Jl duct work over the auditorium section
in connection with the cooling and ventilating unit. This
work was requested by the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditori-
um, and Civic Buildings and agreement made with the contractor
and a memorandum of said agr ement filed with the comptroller
and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract No. G 3152 was awarded to Lovering Construction Com-
pany for General, Electrical and Mechanical Construction of
the Civic Education Building, Tenth and Cedar Streets, Saint
Paul, Minnesota.
During the progress of the work on the subject job, it was
found necessary to provide sheet metal duct work in place of
the fiber glass duct originally specified in connection with
the cooling and ventilating unit over the auditorium section
and in! connection therewith we have negotiated with the con-
tractor and he has quoted us a price of $3,262.00 which will
be an extra to the contract.
This is a, reasonable amount for the work involved and there-
fore we recommend an extra in that amount.
