PA OFFICE OF THE CIT1 O�Ut�I /SOLUTION -G Council File No. 214946 —By Frank L Loss — Whereas, The Phalen Park Youth Club has contributed ogtstanding serv. ice in providing financial assistance and voluntary leadership for the many ,youth sports activities in the Phalen "Ark area; and Whereas, The Phalen Park Youth "r!1 *s recognized as an official vol- Id o -b organization working in co- with tb • Bureau of Park; IS_ JP­_,reetior i - it a City of St lit q G try'ulh ^rsm b"a ..00perai,;, a 414946 16-9-6 3 Whereas, The Phalen Park Youth Club has contributed outstanding service in providing financial assistance and voluntary leadership for the many youth sports activities in the Phalen Park area; and Whereas, The Phalen Park Youth Club is recognized as an official voluntary organization working in coordination with the Bureau of Parks and Recreation of the City of St. Paul; and Whereas, Through the cooperation of the Phalen Park Youth Club and the Bureau of Parks and Recreation for the City of St. Paul, a new recreation shelter building has been constructed recently in Phalen Park; and Whereas, Due to lack of funds to fully complete said recreation shelter building and the Phalen Park Youth Club has indicated its willingness to contribute financially toward the completion of such structure; and Whereas, Through the cooperation of the Phalen Park Youth Club and the Arrigoni Construction Co. of St. Paul, Minnesota, arrangements have been made to complete said construction by the application of glazing material to .,the inside walls of the recreation shelter building to include the rest rooms, warming room, skate sharpening room and the concession room, for a total cost of $832.00; Therefore, Be it resolved, that the Council of the City of St. Paul does hereby authorize the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings to enter into a contractual agreement with the Arrigoni Company for the application according to specifications prepared by the City Architect's office, said work to be supervised by the City Architect's office of the glazing material referred to above, at a total cost of $832.00, to be paid for by the Bureau of Parks and Recreation. It is further resolved that the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings is authorized to receive a contribution by the Phalen Youth Club of an amount not to exceed $332.00 toward the cost of this additional work on the construction project.
