PAUL COUNCIL NO OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE UNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from September 16 to 30, 1963, which rendered necessary the employ- ment of certain employees of the Department of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work; Emergency building inspection at Arts & Science Civic Center. And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances; Pouring of concrete slab began at 6;00 A. M. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees vho per- formed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6146. Loss — Resolved, That the proper City offi- cers are hereby authorized to pay certain employes in the Department of Parks & Recreation & Public Bldgs. for extra employment as, described in the resolution.
