Resolved, that, upon recommendation and report of the Valuation
Engineer, the proper city officials be and-are hereby authorized
to execute a conveyance to the State of Minnesota covering the
following described parcel:
All that part of Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 17, Mackubin and
Marshall's addition to Saint Pant, which lies northerly of
the following described line: Beginning at a point 10 feet
south and 10 feet east of the northwest corner of Lot 112
said Block 17; thence run southeasterly to a point on the
east line of Lot 9, said Block 17, distant 24 feet south of
the northeast corner thereof;
together with the right to dispose of excess earth materials
on those parts of Lots 9 thru 15, inclusive, said Block 17,
which lies southerly of the north 10 feet of Lots 9 thru 15,
inclusive, said Block 17, southerly of the above described
strip and northerly of the following described line: Begin-
ning at a point on the west line of said Lot 15, distant 20
feet south of the northwest corner thereof; thence run south-
easterly to a point on the east line of said Lot 9, distant
85 feet south of the northeast corner thereof, such right to
terminate on or before December 1', 196511
and Be It Further Resolved, that the corrected conveyance be sub-
mitted to the Qorporation Counsel for approval in line with the
recommendation of the -Valuation �Ehgineer.

of the City of Saint Paul
Gentlemen:
September 27, 1963
The State of Minnesota has transmitted the attached deed in
triplicate conveying a part of Lots 9, 10, and 11, Block 17,
Mackubin and Marshall's addition to Saint Paul for execution.
The present deed is requested due to an error in a prior deed
prepared by the Highway Department and authorized by C.F. 213602
approved June 26, 1963, wherein the description noted does not a
allow for a prior widening of Rondo Street. The erroneous deed,
issued as a result of said council file, has been recorded in
Book 1860 of Records, Page 300, as noted on said deed. The con-
sideration in the sum of $850.00 required for this transaction
is in the hands of the city comptroller and is awaiting correc-
tion of the deed.
I, therefore, recommend that the proper city officials be
authorized to execute the corrected conveyance and that the
corporation counsel should determine whether or not a recitation
to the effect that it is given to correct the former conveyance
should be added to the deed submitted by the State Highway
Department.
