WHEREAS, Comptrollerls Contract L -6510, F. Morettini Construction
Company, contractor, for the construction of the WALSH -IVY RELIEF
SEWER SYSTEM, Contract "A ", has been substantially completed, and
WHEREAS, said Contractor requests that a portion of the 15% re-
tained under the contract from estimates for work done, be paid
in advance of the final completion of the contract, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department of
Public Works approve the - payment at this time* of $ 15,000-00 of
the $ 19, 920.00 retained, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials be and they are hereby
authorized to pay an e st imat e in the amount - of x$15, 000.00 from
the retained percentage of $ 19,920.00 to said 'Contractor, and
be it
FURTM!E RESOLVED, that this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the contractor's Bond consent
thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller.
