Whereas, the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, and Civic
Buildings has reported in accordance with.Section 53 of the
City Charter, the existence of an emer ency during the period
from September 16 to September ,30, 196,83, which rendered neces-
sary the employment of,certain employes of the Department of
Libraries, Auditorium, ,and Civic Buildings for more than eight
hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following
work:
Necessary for maintenance and operation of parking at2&nicipal
,Stadium.
And, whereas, this emergency arose by reason of the following
facts and circumstances:
Could not be handled by untrained personnel.
Therefore be it resolved, that the proper city officers are
hereby authorized to pay the employes shown on the attached
list who performed such work in accordance with the provisions
of the Counci148 salary ordinance, No, 6446,
