Re: Necessary Funds for City Payment
of Health and Welfare Insurance
Premiums Authorized by Council
Resolutions (Council Files 214439,
214561 and 214562)
Gentlemen:
The City Council, on September 12, 1963, referred to
the Health and Welfare and Insurance Committee for
study and recommendation the letter of Comptroller
Mitchell dated September 10,, 1963, enclosing Uetter
to him dated August 23 from the City Clerk transmit-
ting Council File 214439 relative to contract changes
in certain group insurance policies.
The Health and Welfare and Insurance Committee, at its
meeting on September. 23, 1963, gave full consideration
to the subject and voted to recommend to.the Council
that #14,000 be included in the 1964 School Budget and'
$185,000 be included in the 1964 Budget (Other than
Schools)as funds necessary for City payment of health
and welfare premiums authorized by Council resolutions
(files numbe,wdd in caption).
