RESOLVED, that A. D. Kennedy, Jr. be permitted
to construct a six foot alternating vertical type redwood
fence on part of the rear portion of his yard to enclose
a swimming pool to be built on his property at 1141 Summit
Avenue, the only portion of the fence lying on the lot
line being ou the East side, the rest to be,,placed inside
the lot, said fence to be constructed under the direction
and to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Parks and
Recreation and Public Buildings.

in the attached letter of the City Architect,

Gentlemen:
Mr. A. D. Kennedy, Jr. of 1141-*Summit Avenue requested
permission of the City Council to construct a six foot
alternating vertical type redwood fence on part of the
rear portion of his yard to enclose a swimming pool
which he expects to build. The only portion of the
fence which will lie on the lot line will be on the East
side; the rest will be placed inside the lot.
This office has made an investigation of this and recom-
mends that approval be granted for the construction of
an oversized fence at the above address.
