1�E'SOLVED,'That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby expresses its pride in the faith demonstrated by the
opening of the new Sears and Dayton's stores, which give
concrete evidence of the long sought regeneration of downtown
Saint Paul; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that we pledge to every constructive,
positive effort towards re- development of the City our firm
support and extend our warmest congratulations and sincerest
hope for economic success of these two enterprises; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is hereby
directed to forward copies of this Resolution to said Sears
Roebuck and Co. and Dayton's.
