Resolved, that an extra in the amount of $244.00 be allow-
ed-under Contract G 3014 between the City of Saint Paul and
the Westinghouse Electric Corporation, said contract for the
Replacement of the Passenger Elevator for the Public Utilities
Building, 100 East Tenth Street,, Saint Paul, and said extra to
cover the relocation of the power disconnect switch in the
elevator penthouse'to the southeast corner of the south wall
of the penthouse structure;. this Work having been requested
by the Commissioner of Public Utilities, and agreement made
with the contractor, and a memorandum of said agreement having
been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
_ Contract No. G -3014 was awarded to Westinghouse Electric
Corporation for the Replacement of the Passenger Elevator at
the Public Utilities Building, 100 East Tenth Street, Saint
Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it was
found desirable to relocate the power disconnect switch in
the elevator penthouse to the southeast corner of the south
wall-of the penthouse structure, and at the request of the
Commissioner of Public Utilities negotiations have been con-
ducted with the contractor who agrees to,perform this work
for $244.00, which is a reasonable amount for the labor
and materials involved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing this extra.
