In the matter of grading SHORT LINE ROAD from Hamline Aveniffit - I.14- ,1
Connection to St. Clair Avenue (P- 116C); by grading the roadbed to sub -
grade elevation; by removing a bridge at Lincoln Avenue over the tracks
of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad; by grading,
surfacing and curbing street connections; by grading and surfacing
alleys; by constructing a retaining wall; by constructing storm water
drainage facilities; by reconstructing sidewalk where necessary; by
constructing sewer, water and gas service connections where necessary
and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete
said improvement under Preliminary Order 20771+, approved June 27, 1962.
Also, in the matter of grading SHEPARD ROAD from Elway Street to
Rankin Street (P -318A) by grading the roadbed to subgrade elevation; by
grading, surfacing and curbing street connections; by constructing storm
water drainage facilities; by constructing sidewalks where necessary;
by constructing sewer, water and gas service connections where necessary
and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete
siiLd improvement under Preliminary Order 208293 approved July 24, 1962.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications for the above named
improvements as submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works be and
the same are hereby approved; and be it
,FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby
directed to advertise for bids on these improvements.
