An ordinance settling the claim of Wesley G, Eitel
and Esther L. Eitel against the City of Saint Paul.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to pay, out of the Judgment and Compromise Fund, to Wesley G.
Eitel and Esther L. Eitel, the sum of $400.10 in full settlement of their
claim for damage to their garage located on their property at 1083 Kilburn
Street in Saint Paul, caused on July 1, 1963, by a tree falling thereon, during
City operations in the alley at the rear of their property.
Section 2. Said sum shall be paid to said claimants upon their
execution and delivery of a release in full to said City, in a form approved
by the Corporation Counsel, for all damages sustained by them in the amount
aforesaid.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
days after -its passage, approval, and publication.
