OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER 1117E WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, on the 17th day of July, 1963, adopted Housing Authority Resolution No. 63- 7 -17 -5; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, by B. Warner Shippee, Executive Director thereof, has advised the Honorable Mayor and members of the City Council by letter dated July 18, 1963, that the Authority is making every effort to make a final close -out of the Eastern Redevelopment Project by September 30 of this year; that one step involved is that of making a final determination of project costs, in particular in determining the total dollar amount of Federal contributions to project costs by reason of an increase in the dollar amount of a non -cash Grant in Aid credited to Saint Paul on this project as a result of local expenditure in the Capitol Approach, and because of a change in the purchase price of Lot 1, Block 1, Eastern Area. ,.;_ Addition which will be sold to the Highway Department to permit the extension of L'Orient Street frontage road through to University Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, by said letter further advises that the Federal participation in that project cost will be increased, and the Authority, therefor, has approved the formation of an Amendatory Application for Loan and Grant for the Eastern Redevelopment Project whereunder the Federal Capital Grant would be increased from the sum of $1,286,179 to $1,429,799, and that to amend this Application requires the concurrence of the City Council and that the Authority therefor has approved the formation of an Amendatory Application; and WHEREAS, the Authority has requested Council consideration and approval; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby concurs in the action of the Authority as expressed in its Resolution No. 63- 7 -17 -5; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to transmit five certified copies of this concurring resolution to B.
