213961WHEREAS, the Council:, of the City of Saint Paul, on July 17,
1963, by resolution of the Council, Council File No. 2139+7
4 passed a final order condemning and taking, among of ers, the
aforesaid parcel of property; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property at the time,of initiation
of this condemnation proceedings by the City of Saint Paul were
Joseph D. Garcia and Evelyn 0. Garcia, and they have indicated to
the Office of the Valuation Engineer of the City of Saint Paul that
they are desirous of receiving payment for said property from the
City at the earliest possible time since they are in the process
of negotiation for the purchase of another home and wish to apply
money to be received from the City of Saint Paul in connection with
the condemnation toward the purchase of the property which they are
now seeking to acquire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby authorized
to pay to Joseph D. Garcia and Evelyn 0. Garcia the sum of $11,500.00,
less the balance of the last half of the taxes for 1962, in the amount
of $95.37., in full and final payment for the property above described,
subject to the following conditions:
1. The owners shall give to the City of Saint Paul
a warranty deed conveying to the City all rights
possessed by them with respect to the aforesaid
property;

right to appeal from the aforesaid condemnation.
