under Preliminary Order 212551 approved May 3, 1963
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take a permanent easement -30 feet in width in Lot 80, Montville,
Dayton and Warren's Prospect-Addition adjacent to the north line of Pt. D60glas
Road for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a public sewer on, under,-
across and through a strip of land 30'feet in width, the north line of said ease-
ment being a line that is parallel to and 30 feet northeasterly.of the southwesterly
lot line of said Lot 80, said north easement line extending from the northwesterly
lot line of said Lot 80 to the southerly line of said Lot 80, in accordance with
the blueprint hereto attached and made a part hereof, the hatched portions showing
the cuts and the shaded portions showing the fills.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 125.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 13th day of
August, 1963 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
