Gentlemen:
In accordance with Ordinance 11542, the Car Mileage Committee
met Tuesday morning, September 24, 1963 and passed on.the fol-
low requests:
DETENTION AND CORRECTIONS AUTHORITY
A letter dated September 11, 1963,.. signed by Bernard M. Troje,
requested removal of Mr. Ulric C. Scott from C mileage plan,
effective August 31, 1963 and the placement of John Rydel,
new Assistant Superintendent Boys T6tem Town, on Type C maximum
$15.00, effective September 1, 1963. Mr. Scott is resigning
and Mr. Rydel is his replacement. The Committee recommends
favorable action.
DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE
A letter dated, August 22, 1963 signed by Commissioner Dalglish
requested placement on C mileage of the following employees,
effective September 1, 1963
James W. Donovan Asst Valuation Eng. $30.00
Richard E. Fagerblom Jr. Civil Engineer 25.00
Forest W. Crowley Val & Assmt Tech. 15.00
Ruben Aguirre Sr. Arch. Dftsman 15.00
Jess R. Baker Sr. Arch. Drftsman 15.00
These men must make checks in the field of almost every improve-
ment, assessment or condemnation and require the use of their
cars. It is recommended that these requests be granted.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
A letter dated September 9, signed by J. E. Eichinger and coun-
tersigned by Commissioner Rosen, requested removal of Roy E.
Bredahl, Senior Civil Engineer from C mileage of '640.00, effec-
tive August 31, 1963. Mr. Bredahl will go on A mileage.
Also, a letter dated September 20 requested a change in mile-
age plan for Edward Landin, Senior Engineering Aide, from his
present B plan to C mileage with a monthly maximum of $70.00,
effective October 1, 1963. Mr. Landin's duties of sidewalk
inspection require his driving approximately the same each.
