RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing aid delivering f.o.b. City of
Saint Paul Water Department, Purification Plant, 1900 Rice Street, -Soo Line Siding,
Saint Paul, Minnesota, for period of one year effective November 1, 1963,
approximately 450 tons of Liquid Chlorine in tank car shipments of 30 tons each,
to FRONTIER CHEMICAL COMPANY at a price of $77.95 per net ton, malting total amount
of contract approximately $35,077.50, in accordance with City specifications and
the Formal Bid #9462 of said Frontier Chemical Company, such bid being one
identical bids and said bidder being a reasonable and reliable one 6hd the Corporation
Counsel,be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
