RESOLVED, that The Gillette Company, Toni Division, be permitted
to install and operate a 30 -car off - street employee parking facility
on property at the northeast corner of Fifth and Broadway Streets in
Saint Paul, more particularly described as Lots 5 and 6, Block 44,
Kittson Addition, in accordance with plans approved August 1, 1963,
filed herewith, and subject to compliance with the provisions of all
applicable City ordinances and State statutes and rules and regulations
of public authorities having cognizance.

attached application of the Gillette Company, Toni Division, for permit
to install and operate a 30-car employee parking lot to be oo nstructed on property
at the northeast corner of Fifth St. and Broadway, also described as Lots 5
and 6, Block 44, Kittson Addition, in accordance with plans approved August 1,

Dear Madam:
This is inihe matter of the application of the Gillette Company,
Toni Division, for a 30 car employee parking lot to be constructed
on property located ap the northeast corner of Fifth Street and
Broadway which is described as Lots 5 and 6, Block 44, Kittson
Addition. The property is zoned light industry.
The site which is vacant is 100 feet square, resulting in an area
of 10,000 square feet. The Highway is to the north and the other
area uses are all industrial in character. Field investigation dis-
closes no objection, but access to and from the lot should be from
Fifth Street only. The Traffic'Engineer has approved the plan which
meets the standards for this type of facility.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the permit for a 30 car employee parking lot on the
above described property in accordance with plans approved August 1,
1963.
