RESOLVED, pursuant to the pertinent application
therefor, that a permit hereby is granted unto the Board
of Education of the City of Saint Paul and Cyclone Fence
Department, American Steel & Wire Division of the United
States Steel Corporation, for the erection and maintenance
of a 2 -inch metal chain link fence not in excess of 6 feet
in height to enclose said Board's Mickelson Athletic Field,
bounded by East Page and East Sidney Streets and Humboldt and
Livingston Avenues, in the City of Saint Paul.

CORPORATION CUUNSEL
The City Council requested that you prepare a resolution granting the
request of the School Department and the Cyclone Fence Department,
American Steel & Wire Division of the U. S. Steel Corporation for
permission to erect a 2 -inch mesh chain link fence to enclose the
Mickelson Athletic Field, bounded by E. Page and E. Sidney Sts. and
by Humboldt and Livingston Aves., as set out in the attached letter
of the City Architect.

Gentlemen:
A request has been submitted to this office by the School
Department and the Cyclone Fence Department, American
Steel & Wire Division of the U. S. Steel Corporation for
permission to'- -ere-ct a 2 -inch mesh chain link fence to
enclose the'Mickelson Athletic Field, which is bounded by
East Page and East - Sidney Streets and by Humboldt and
Livingston Avenues.
This office has made an investigation of this request and
sees no reason why the request should not be granted. It
is therefore recommended that permission be gran`k.ed to the
School Department and to the U. S. Steel Corporation to
construct this fence.
